GT14 243 #2 Posted July 11, 2015 Very nice, my next refresh will be my 69 GT14. I changed out the engine to an 18hp Kohler a few years ago and did a minor clean up at that time.

whtractors24 3,197 #8 Posted July 12, 2015 The shaft from the drive mechanism was all snotted up with weld so I'm going to grind it down and re weld a new piece on.gmso far this tractor has been tight and not worn out in the typical gt 14 spots The hood is looking excellent after 4 to 5 hours of body work!
953 nut 56,150 #9 Posted July 12, 2015 Couldn't help seeing a rag sitting on a can of denatured alcohol, Hope you remember the potential for spontaneous combustion and store them in a fire proof container or hang them on an outdoor clothes line to dry.The work you are doing looks great, keep the pictures and updates coming. Ken B 3,164 #12 Posted July 19, 2015 Looks pretty darn good Jason. I think you might find that when you do all the tearing down, fixin and repainting yourself you get a little more attached to them. You don't see too many GT 14's out there all prettied up...
