chorusguy 227 #1 Posted July 2, 2015 I have 3 c160 autos. each of them has some sort of cobbled together lift lever to raise and lower the deck or the implements. I have one original but it is broken and somebody tried to put it back together with JB Weld. I know what the original looks like and would like to have replacements but haven't seen any. In the meantime, since I suspect this is a problem with most hydros, I would love to see how others have replaced their hydro lift levers and would also welcome some suggestions. A piece of heavy guage wire through the piston hole really doesn't get it done for me.Thanks a million.
squonk 41,639 #2 Posted July 3, 2015 I took a broken lever, Added a cut off hydro lever I took off of a junkyard tractor. Now I can keep the left hand on the wheel and operate the lift with just my fingers while controlling the hydro with my right hand.
Ed Kennell 39,148 #3 Posted July 3, 2015 I like it Mike. I think I can do something similar on the 520 by making an extension for the lift lever. I have the foot control on the hydro, but the extension of the lift lever will keep the left hand on the wheel and free up the right hand to operate the chute controls and the coffee cup.
