TT-(Moderator) 1,131 #3 Posted January 9, 2008 Don't want to be accused of voting twice, Bill, but since we hang out in so many of the same places, I'm gonna do it again. How about a 1/8 scale die-cast 701 (with maybe a mower deck) for around $30.00 to $40.00? I don't think anything represents the Wheel Horse tractor's impact on suburban lawn care and gardening over the last 45 years more than the first front engined garden tractor. (I know -- that's just my opinion, right? ) Of course, they can always make more models after that. :(
CasualObserver 3,408 #4 Posted January 9, 2008 Can this be made into a poll? It might get more easy to read results? My answers are (1)e (2)c (3)a,b,c,e (if i can only choose 1 then it's C) (4)a (4 for real)b,c (again if only 1 then C)
Kelly 1,029 #5 Posted January 9, 2008 I'd like to see 1/8 to go with my die cast car collection, 1965- 1969 prefer short frame, die cast, $20- $40 maybe a snowplow or sickle bar. Just my two cents worth. Kelly in MI
Sparky-(Admin) 21,300 #6 Posted January 9, 2008 Can anyone tell me about how big a tractor would be in any of these sizes? I would'nt want matchbox size. Mike.........
CasualObserver 3,408 #7 Posted January 9, 2008 Mike... the larger (common sandbox size) models of farm tractors are 1/8... the little matchbox size are 1/64. So I'd think a Wheel Horse would be about half that size, respsectivley.
nylyon-(Admin) 7,258 #8 Posted January 9, 2008 Sorry, I have closed this topic. In it's place there is the formal voting, hopefully it will be easier for Bill to tally
