JAinVA 4,629 #2 Posted June 27, 2015 If it is a mechanical pump say like on the Kohler series then disconnect the line to the carb and remove the screws holding the pump to the block.Pull the pump free of the block and actuate the pump lever. You should get fuel flow.If not then check to make sure fuel line to the pump is getting fuel.This is also a good way to get fuel to the carb after rebuilds and is easier to prime the carb than cranking with the sparkplug out.Luck,JAinVA Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Horse46 519 #4 Posted June 27, 2015 ITS ALIVE I pulled the pump to find it was all a bit loose but operating fine. I put some fuel into the carb just to give it a chance and she fired right up.Is it me or does the 16hp sound a beast? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
