Brian01 481 #26 Posted June 29, 2015 That's nice...I'm out here right now with the dash outta mine, got it down to bare metal...Im thinking about just clearcoating it. Or maybe clear top half and bottom black
Trouty56 567 #27 Posted June 30, 2015 Well...if you do then you could add a decal at anytime if you want....
Brian01 481 #29 Posted June 30, 2015 It looks better in person really...more factory look. Much better than white. Sanded it all down to bare metal..clear coated it..then flat blacked the bottom of dash, then more clear coat ontop of that...shift plate got blacked and cleared as well. Brian01 481 #31 Posted June 30, 2015 My square headlight switch has quit so I had to put a regular toggleswitch in its place until I can find one
Trouty56 567 #32 Posted June 30, 2015 looks better than white in my opinion.
Brian01 481 #33 Posted June 30, 2015 Yeah I agree...do you know if you can still buy headlight switches for these?
Brian01 481 #35 Posted July 1, 2015 I am pretty please with the paint job, but not the paint itself....it pills right off, like plasti-dip. Should have clearcoated it I guess...but oh well, still much better than it was.

Brian01 481 #37 Posted July 2, 2015 I bought two of those switches on ebay a while back. Cole Hersee is the manufacturer of these Have not looked for them sinceI did my tractor tho.David Appreciate it...yeah I found some "rocker" switches surfin the web today...also just got back in from fixing that sucking back in throttle...I put a regular lever type throttle on it. Mounted it right above the hydrolic lever, kinda under the dash, on driverside...don't look to bad...sure works alot better.
Trouty56 567 #39 Posted July 2, 2015 I suppose this had the pull throttle...they are to be turned to tighten so they don't slip back in...mine was similar... I drilled the knob and shaft...put a small tension pin though it....filed it smooth...works OK now....
Brian01 481 #40 Posted July 2, 2015 Yes it was the pull type throttle. I tried everything to get it to work right..never would...I had a couple of these type throttles laying round here. N though what the heck...works much better...still having what I "hope" is a belt issue...won't pull a hill....I backed down my driveway...went to come back up, bout halfway, it started "cutting out" to the point it almost killed it, and it was smoking the belt as well...think its just been stretched too many times.
