82Caddy 851 #1 Posted June 23, 2015 Hi all, I'm sure this has been covered a few times but I can't search on here for the life of me. I'm looking to upgrade the front and rear tires on my Commando 800. I scored some free wheel weights for 8in front wheels and since my tires are in pretty poor condition i figured it was time for an upgrade.Do I need anything besides new wheels/bearings? Do I need different spindles?Rears are easy, bolt on and go - looking at 12x7 with 23x8.5 tires.
daveoman1966 3,745 #2 Posted June 23, 2015 I am in n/w PA and I have a decent pair of front tires on rims...16 x 6.5 x 8 and can also supply you with nice front spindles to accommodate those rims/tires. For further details, send me a direct email ....just clik this link:daveoman@windstream.netThe spindles wouldn't cost much to ship to MN.... tires and rims would... 82Caddy 851 #3 Posted July 8, 2015 Back on this topic...Anyone have rear axle hubs for the 12in wheels? They have a larger centerbore then the 10in ones that I have and I'd prefer to have the right hubs on the rear.I did use the the horse to push some dirt last night It did pretty good with the loose dirt I had tilled up but once it got packed down it didn't move much lol.
