Terry M-(Moderator) 2,175 #1 Posted June 1, 2015 My neighbor has a 1979 Allis charmer lawn tractor he's thinking of selling. Believes it may be worth alot of $$s . My guess would be $200 maybe...... Anybody out there have any knowledge of what this tractor is worth?? it is an electric start, three speed with a vertical shaft 8 hp briggs if I remember correctly .any opinions / comments appriciated . thanksPS , I'll take a couple of snapshots of it.... Ken B 3,164 #3 Posted June 1, 2015 Your neighbor probably only see's the name Allis Chalmers on that tractor and he automatically thinks its worth all the steam. I'd ask for more than 200 only because you can't even get a half way decent push mower for 200 bucks these days..
