copperhead 38 #1 Posted May 25, 2015 (edited) LOL...Basically sprayed them down with water and Simple Green. Toyed with the idea of restoring them for a few years , but the "patina" has grown on me. If you look close you can see my re-upholstery work. They're really not that bad except for some surface rust. Mechanically they are in great shape. I'm sure both spent some time of their life exposed to the elements, but for 40 and 41 years old and pretty much all original, I think they've aged pretty well. The C-100 is my snow mover. The B-80 is a backup for the C-100 and mainly a yard puller. I mow with it about once a month to give it some running time, but given the fact that it has a turning radius of a small SUV, it just isn't practical for mowing my small yard every week.I'd imagine both will probably still be running well after my riding days are over. Tankman 3,518 #5 Posted May 25, 2015 (edited) Time to bust out the wd-40 The Horses thrive on WD (water displacement) 40. After plowin' snow or a bath, the Stallions need PM (preventative maintenance).Nice lookin' engineered pair you have. Certainly look well for their age! AMC RULES 37,127 #7 Posted May 25, 2015 (edited) Nice tag team there...some models do have a tighter turning radius than others. I've got a hydro black hood here that feels like it'll turn on a dime...great worker for a small footprint. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pej4ZEF6g8g Edited May 25, 2015 by Giddy Up WH
