New trailer

That's one nice trailer. I really like the bi-fold tailgate. Even with the expanded metal it's amazing how much wind drag they cause.

Thanks guys. That was one feature I really wanted. I don't know how long they've been making them with that as an option. I don't remember ever seeing any others around here with the option, but I had conceived that idea several years back, and thought if I ever got a trailer with a gate that's what I'd do. Several dealers tried to talk me out of it commenting how it doesn't really save you gas mileage or anything... which I contend is a moot point anyway. From my perspective, the gas mileage thing only becomes an issue when pulling an empty trailer allowing that whole gate to provide wind resistance, and I don't make a habit of running around with an empty trailer. ;) Besides, they just wanted to sell me what they already had on the lot, which was full, non-folding ramp gate stock models.

Another nice benefit is that when I'm pulling it, I don't have to look through the mesh gate to see behind me. The bi-fold lowers the view obstructing gate for a cleaner view of following traffic!

Shopping around makes a difference. I was able to get what I wanted, in the color I preferred for less money than settling for something closer just down the road.

What is the carrying weight of that one? Looks like it will carry a decent amount.

It's a 2,990 lbs. rated trailer, with regular 3,500 lbs axle. Trailer itself weighs a little under 1,200 and will comfortably carry 4 tractors with attachments mounted. Deck is built the same as their longer dual axle trailer so weight won't be issue.

Keeping it rated under 3k lbs allows it to have a lifetime license here in MN... no annual registration or license plates either!

Nice trailer that doesn't look like a landscaper, Jason. I came close to a similar "PJ" with the ATV ramps but with a dove tail end. They are nice with the removable sides. What stopped me was the extra six inch width (77" width) for the roads in my area. I have enough trouble with the 72" width out here seeing as I don't use it every day..

Thanks John... I know what you mean... the way you feel about 77 vs 72 is the reason I didn't go to the 83 instead!

If I was back in the Midwest, I would have gone 77" as well. The roads where some of the "finds" are located out here are skinny.

I have a Wheel Horse model 7-2211 yard trailer for sale. This trailer Has been repainted by the previous owner. It is not a show piece but with that being a said it is a solid trailer that would be a good worker. This trailer would be great for someone that wants one that looks decent and isn’t afraid to use it like it should be used. My price is O.B.O. for it. Feel free to ask questions and I can send more pics of it through text or email. I prefer texting or email but will accept calls on it.
      Thanks-
      Tristen

hi all. I  hate to bother you all.  i see some of you have a hauler that looks like a little jeep. made in benton harbor.   some one borrowed mine and said they broke the starter. they finally brought it back in boxes. so i got it all put back to gether but for a couple missing parts i don't remember what they look like.  the first link from the gas foot petal to the back and the next piece of the throttle linkage there but the piece that goes from the top of that flat linkage back to a lever and the lever and the last tiny little link that hooks to the carb/governor linkage. Help please. i can make anything but not sure. I think it goes from the front link and it twist around that screw and then to a lever that pivot to make it pull the lever from other side of pivot. can you take me a couple pictures of the linkage. I am in a wheelchair and that is the only way i get around the farm. so i can't wait to get it back. I should of never loaned it out but they wanted to put it in a parade.
Thanks for all your help. Might post this to the group if i can remember how to do it. lol
      Thanks
      Tim E.

Tomorrow is the first trip with equipment to the new house. One of the advantages of the brand trailer I have (Sure Trac) is that the gate can fold down onto the deck of the trailer. It will be loaded going down but empty returning, With the gate up it feels like I am still towing a parachute. The problem with having the gate down is that the trailer disappears behind my truck.

I had bought a pair of 36" snowplow marker guides for the 42" single stage snowthrower a few years ago. They were to help locate the ends when pulling into our side-load garage. But before mounting them I found a shorter pair that worked better. So the longer ones languished on the shelf until today. I had a last minute thought to mount them on the trailer. It should work great.

Hey guys, @wheelhorseman, @WVHillbilly520H, brought this stuff home today. Big question did wh make a gooseneck trailer like this? Really hope so, paint looks right and came out of the same lot as the rest of this. Owner swears he had blade and blower on the 414-8 Which means it'll fit my 312-8. He talked me (or bribed) me into taking tractor with me. Got the weights and chains too. $440 for all of it. Tractor runs but has fuel delivery problems.
