fast88pu 3,324 #1 Posted May 10, 2015 Well I'm thinking about pulling with one of my gt 14s. Should I try the hydro one or the one with the 8 pinion 8 speed in it ? Or is it not even worth trying ? Thanks
baerpath 517 #2 Posted May 10, 2015 Use the 8 pinion not the hydro
fast88pu 3,324 #3 Posted May 10, 2015 Could it still be used in the stock class ?
baerpath 517 #4 Posted May 10, 2015 Depends on the club and what your gonna pull. Do they offer a off the lawn class ?

fast88pu 3,324 #7 Posted May 10, 2015 Runs good. Had to rebuild carb and fuel pump and fix gas tank. Hydro is good and lift works
Wheel Horse Collector 47 #8 Posted June 3, 2015 NO HYDRO!!! They make TERRIBLE pullers.
fast88pu 3,324 #9 Posted June 3, 2015 it is a gt14 with an 8 pinion 8 seed in it
octfst 378 #10 Posted June 4, 2015 Some clubs have tire size rules. most likely only 12 inch.
baerpath 517 #11 Posted June 4, 2015 If it came from the factory we allow upto 9.5x15 in stock classes most NY clubs allow it also.

fast88pu 3,324 #16 Posted July 21, 2015 I haven't pulled yet with it. I like the Hydro because of the lift but the 8 speed is nice to pull the cart around with and it books in 3 hi down the road. Would say it does between 15 and 20 mph
fast88pu 3,324 #17 Posted October 24, 2016 Well I tried the gt14 with the 8 speed for pulling in the begining of the year and it did not do as well as I hoped. My 312-8 out pulled it. The problem is the lack of tread patterns available in in size and they are nose heavy.
