callum12 256 #1 Posted May 9, 2015 hi all, even though this has been done for quite a while now it occurred to me that I haven't actually got a video of my new stack! please excuse the poor quality filming, i was more concerned with getting good audio really. sounds even better in person, far better than the verging on offensively loud stock exhaust. I drew quite the crowd in the end, notice the VERY life-like gnome and his bears stat on the flower bed! http://i896.photobucket.com/albums/ac161/callummcgrory/th_IMG_1557_zpsppzus58b.mp4 hopefully the video has worked, callum

callum12 256 #6 Posted May 10, 2015 thanks everyone, haha yes i think it is, he's got a small one and a bigger on! the exhaust paint i got for it is complete rubbish, i painted it and left it to dry over a week then it said to run the engine at idle until the fumes coming off the paint stop (I assume this is the curing) i did this too. after the run the paint had literally turned to dust! it looks like soot now and rubs off with your finger!! steve k 82 #7 Posted May 13, 2015 Can you make a video of the tractor while it's running?? Love the exhaust. Good craftsmanship!
baerpath 517 #8 Posted May 13, 2015 I have my stacks powder coated. Do it once and never touch it again So much better than paint
callum12 256 #9 Posted May 13, 2015 steve k, i was going to put a video of me riding around my garden but its really same (the tractor will be used more at my allotment) so it is just me driving at idle so not much difference to what you hear in the video. i will get a video if it at operational speed for you though. just got to sort out the governor linkage. yes I think i will powder coat, although i will be wrapping the exhaust up to the spark plug, beyond there its cooled down enough not to cause any damage. thanks all, callum
callum12 256 #10 Posted May 14, 2015 steve k, here is a video of me driving around, i was being quite cautious here as the pulleys are still quite pitted which makes the clutch quite sharp! http://s896.photobucket.com/user/callummcgrory/media/shortened%20_zpstkf2z5bu.mp4.html like I say i will get a better video when i can open her up a bit at the allotment rather than my tiny garden! enjoy, callum
