COMB2 0 #1 Posted November 6, 2008 I know I seen it somewhere. Anyone got the link to the thread that shows how to measure the size of a furrow plow? Just picked one up and wondering what size it is.
CasualObserver 3,410 #2 Posted November 6, 2008 Like this. (This picture is a 14 inch plow) or written out: To find the size, measure across the bottom from the landside to the part of the share that is farthest from the landside.
COMB2 0 #3 Posted November 6, 2008 That's not what I seen. OK now answer me this. What is the landside and the share? :hide:
CasualObserver 3,410 #4 Posted November 7, 2008 The landside is the left line... where it's cutting the land. The share is the piece at the bottom. (the bottom of the plow... not the picture) In the example above imagine you are standing behind and looking down at the moldboard.... it is a 14 inch plow.
