boovuc 1,090 #1 Posted May 3, 2015 Can someone do me a big favor and shoot a picture of the governor spring settings on their 310-8 speed MAGNUM tractor for me. I took my carb off and cleaned it up and also cleaned up the linkages and now my 310 runs real well. so well in fact, I could win a few tractor pulls because I know damn well it's maxing out over 3600 RPM. I haven't experimented with the different holes on the linkage located right at the engine label and I think that is where my issue is. A picture where the throttle and choke meet at that Kohler engine label is a good place to start. Thanks in Advance!

boovuc 1,090 #3 Posted May 5, 2015 Wheel-N-It sent me the pics and I did have the gov spring in the wrong holes. It made a world of difference and now I don't have to worry about someone running it wide open when I'm not around. BIG THANKS and great talking to you today!
