dodge78 90 #1 Posted May 1, 2015 I am trying to get the deck to engage. Any pictures or help appreciated. As the lever moves up to the engage position, it binds. I can not flip the shackle on the rod as it binds on the deck end. Are there parts missing or am I not seeing some thing? wallfish 17,000 #2 Posted May 2, 2015 Doesn't that rod which pulls the pulley to tighten the belt need to be over the belt? I'm not familiar with that tractor but since it goes up to pull and the deck goes down for cutting, that seems how it should go. Much different looking at pics compared to the real thing so just making an observation. What binds where when the lever moves to engage it? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
dodge78 90 #3 Posted May 2, 2015 In the second picture, the deck, it is hard to see but there is a wear mark from what I assume is the belt rubbing on the rod. There for my guess is that the rod goes under the belt. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
