Almost Cried

I stopped by a local garage today to check on some work I am having done there.

These fellows have been into all kinds of stuff over the years, including garden tractor pulling. They do quality work and when they were pulling, they were winners. They got out of the actual pulling but are still doing fab work and painting.

I saw this "custom" hood being made, but was sad to see a roundhood cut up for just a small portion of it being used. Here is the  photo.

Don't cry...it's called "repurposing".

Think of all the Horses that have been sent to the scrapper and you have a reason to cry!

:woohoo:    I bet they saved the lower grill and rear hood sections, they could be used to repair other hoods.

At least it still flies the wheelhorse logo across the front.

Surprised they cut so close to the letters.  That will be tough to body work right there.

I'm with you!  Why on earth would they have cut SO close to those letters?
