AUCTION FIND.

Recommended Posts

Went to a consignment auction yesterday and picked up this 1984 GT 1100 no deck or mower clutch but good running & driving tractor. Used it around the yard today before it rained.

I like your tractor, she looks like a great worker!

I think that's she will be a worker. I have a snow plow that will fit so I think I will just put that on & leave it and pull the trailers around. I got it so cheap I couldn't leave it there. Wasn't sure what I would do with it but really liked it after using it today.

I bought that same model new when I saw it at a dealer in Elkhart, IN and I couldn't pass it up for the price. I figured I's just replace the B&S motor with a Kohler when it blew up. I put a 48" deck I had on it and the kids helped me mow several acres a week with it. In the winter it had the blade duty. That Briggs never skipped a beat in the 16 years I had it even after a complete submersion in a pond when the ice gave way. Great tractors.
