sdhdcouple 133 #1 Posted April 7, 2015 I have this in another tractor I was going to scrap, but the stupid thing started so now I am going to have to save it too. I can't find any Identification tags, stampings or what evers on this thing. If you have an id what it might be please let me know. I need to sell a couple of these Orange tractors to buy some more red ones. thanks
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,047 #2 Posted April 7, 2015 Looks like a B&S. Found a 7010 that used a Model 326431, Type 0127-01. Numbers should be stamped in the blower housing behind the carb or above the head. Garry

Save Old Iron 1,566 #5 Posted April 7, 2015 Among other things, the carb and air cleaner are a dead giveaway.
sdhdcouple 133 #6 Posted April 7, 2015 hmm, well I guess that explains why it looks different than all the rest off them. I thought that all Allis tractors used the same motors till I reread my own post. lol I guess that is the difference between simplicity and Allis Chalmers then, even though they are built by Simplicity each line used a different engine manufacture. well there is my dumb posting of the month. sdhdcouple 133 #7 Posted April 7, 2015 (edited) well I took the carb of this thing and no numbers, no numbers on the carb either. I am guessing this is why I like the Kohler stuff better. Edited April 7, 2015 by sdhdcouple
