kpinnc 11,869 #17 Posted January 6, 2008 I think Kelly just blew the record of our collections out of the water... I want to get my kids involved with my tractors, but I fear I may have to paint one pink to do it... 3 girls... All of that in three years? That's more than one new toy per month if you count the attachments! Kelly, "impressed" just dosen't quite do it justice. That's an excellent collection you've got there! If I had that many tractors, I'd have to live in that barn... Kevin
combatmp29r 27 #18 Posted January 6, 2008 I agree Kevin. No way my wife would let me in the house if i brought that many horses home. Excellent collection Kelly. Even a couple verticals, youve got my approval :D

Kelly 1,029 #21 Posted January 6, 2008 I've lived here 11 years before I could aford to build my barn, Then when I was checking prices to see what I could get, I was looking at this style because my house is barn style and both of my sheds. Then my wife said she wanted me to get this one, I got to love her. So I added some features that I wanted gable over hangs (on the door ends) so it looked better. 12' ceilings so I can put a hoist in some day, one large door, so my car trailer with a car on will fit in the barn, had to be red and white. shingled roof, I restored a 1920's street light for the yard light with a motion detector built in, painted my meter and tubing to match the barn, then I had to build the fenced lot to hide my stuff from the county. Some day I'll have the money to finish the fence and put a floor in the barn I want in floor heat. Everyone says sell some tractors and I'd pay for the floor, but I can't relpace what I have that easy, some could go but not the one's worth selling. Upstairs is 800sq ft. Thats the size of the first house we lived in. down stairs is 1200sq ft. 30x40. All hand built by me and 2 of my brothers and a few friend here and there. The inspector said I over built it didn't need to do this or that, but I told him It's mine thats the way I do things. Glad I could share with the group I'd like to here about your stuff. By the way I live in lower MI. about an hour from IN. I do trade. Thanks again Kelly in MI.

T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,496 #24 Posted January 7, 2008 So, Kelly, judging from your last post in this thread and from a couple of the pictures from inside the barn, I'm guessing the barn floor is dirt. For some reason, that surprised me. I bet your wife will never get you out of there once the floor and the floor heat go in. :D
mnscruff 0 #25 Posted January 12, 2008 Awesome collection, my wife would shoot me if i had that many toys!
