953 nut 57,922 #3 Posted March 28, 2015 You can use utility trailer hubs and bearings and bolt on some 8" trailer tires. You may need to do a little shimming or trimming to make it work. On one of my 953s I did this and it was a direct swap. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

alswagg 128 #7 Posted May 12, 2015 I put on1" 4 bolt tapered bearing trailer hubs on both of my D's. Very easy swap, The only shim needed was for the Seal to ride on, which is 1 1/4" The rims are standard 4 bolt trailer rims with 5 rib tires. Same size as oem.
