Jake Kuhn 1,554 #26 Posted August 24, 2015 Thanks Guys! And I sure wish I could get it to the show, but I know it won't be done by that. Hopefully finish it up this fall or winter, just have too many other projects I'm slowly working on to get this one done. But hopefully next year at the show the 59 and this one will be done, and maybe even another one but we will see. I'm thinking about redoing an early 56 or the c125 after this both are pretty straight and won't take a lot of work.
Jake Kuhn 1,554 #27 Posted February 12, 2016 Been a while for updating this 1 too, picked up new tires for it, frame and hood are ready for paint, Basically just need to finish the hood and steering wheel. Finally started the body work on the hood today. Still quite a bit of time to spend on it, but off to a good start. Thanks, Jake

Racinbob 11,036 #29 Posted February 13, 2016 You amaze me Jake. Ya might want to keep an eye out for rust on the bare metal. Steve and I were on Skype yesterday talking about it and we may have drooled some What is that filler you're using?
Jake Kuhn 1,554 #30 Posted February 13, 2016 Thanks Bob! I will be primed soon and humidity isn't much of a problem this time of year around here. But for filler we use evercoat rage, it is kind of expensive but really nice stuff.

Mine does and I'm relocating the motor kill button from the engine to that hole.

On the 400 they usually just put a plug in them because the kill switch is the throttle control. I believe most if not all had it that way they could just share the same hood for the 2 tractors.

Jake Kuhn 1,554 #39 Posted March 19, 2016 Kevin, I have this, the 59 and the 56 both getting full redos and many others torn apart in various stages. I hope to finish this and the 59 in the next month or so, they are getting close.
