Seems as if they are using it as a lawn ordement. Going to take a ride down and ask him how much he would want for it. I still can't believe i found one down the road from me. Wonder if its the only one in Rhode Island? When you go back to ask, ask him if he has any more of them! I found an RJ58 as lawn art, and I asked the guy if he had any more wheel horses, and there ended up being an RJ and suburban in the barn!
AMC RULES 37,130 #52 Posted June 13, 2016 Awesome discovery for sure... you might be suprised to learn though... there's lot's of "lawn art" that no amount of money could buy.
stevebo-(Moderator) 8,330 #53 Posted June 14, 2016 If money does not buy it then maybe offer to replace it with an old Economy or something similar that is not as rare?

muz123 1,191 #57 Posted July 3, 2016 (edited) I just asked the guy recently and he said it was his dads and he used to plow with it up until ten years ago then sat. Sadly he would not sell it because it was his dads and the funny part is he didn't even know it was a week horse so i had to explain to him what it was lol. refracman 167 #59 Posted September 18, 2016 Been working on putting mine back to what i thought was original condition. Well after removing the steering column and the rest i decided to research the parts. It turns out the column, gear box, pitman arm and link are all model A parts and possibly the spindles. After several conversations with other lever steer guys this might of well been a transition tractor between the lever and senior. but without any records it anybody's guess. So i will keep the parts with the tractor but leave it a lever. eventually the rest will get painted 13
Big-Game 91 #60 Posted September 19, 2016 Hello I have been informed that a new Lever Steer has been located and has a new owner. This tractor was not on the list before. I did meet the PO many years ago who said he purchased the tractor that had been sitting in the garage for many years, he knew the family and did odd jobs for them. From what I remember this is an amazing unrestored original. Congratulations to the new owner you are now number 20 on the list !!!

T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,496 #71 Posted December 20, 2016 To me, finding a RS would be like finding the Holy Grail. I haven't seen one in person, yet. And I have no idea of where one is located locally. 3
