Wild Bill in VA 1,452 #160 Posted July 10, 2022 I didn't think a picture of my Senior was listed so here is mine. I have always called it a 1956 due to certain construction details in this unit. The Wisconsen engines used by the Ponds were purchased in bulk, meaning an older let's say a 1954 Wisconsen engine could have been installed in a 1955 or 1956 year built Senior model. Also notice some of the Wisconsen AEN 8.3 HP engines have a double grooved pulley in the front of the crankshaft but do not have electric start, again some of these engines came with that pulley whether it was used or not. Mine is all original and was purchased at an auction in Burbon, Indiana from the second owner who owned a Wheel Horse dealership and took this Senior in on a trade. I have a snowplow, moldboard plow, trailer hitch and a cultivator set for the Senior. Wild Bill in Richmond VA 3 6

Rob J. 1,942 #162 Posted September 7, 2022 O.K. so who has one of these bad boys for sale? I’ve never seen one in person or even seen an ad for someone selling one. They must be super rare. I guess I’ll have to go to a show to see one. Bucket list. Gitty up and cheers! 1
Pullstart 62,883 #163 Posted October 3, 2022 @Rob J. I don’t know of any for sale, but if you ever take a day trip down to where the Troll population is higher, you can ride on a Senior and a Lever Steer all in one visit Note! One of the Seniors in the field picture is on loan to Uncle Jim until he’s ready to sell it to me 4
Tony (A2, MI) 29 #164 Posted December 1, 2022 Just thought I'd share some pics of my what I assume to be a Senior. I do not believe it is the original engine and as it is stuck, I have bought an AENL for it. Tore it apart 5 years ago but have not touched it since. I ought to get back to it! 5 3
The Freightliner Guy 1,327 #165 Posted December 1, 2022 It reminds me of a lever steer @Pullstart what do you think
WHX?? 48,815 #166 Posted December 1, 2022 Indeed Tony... looks like you have a piece of history there... Treat it with care please. 2
Tony (A2, MI) 29 #167 Posted December 1, 2022 @WHX?? It is inside and the engine is off, but has been sitting that way for years. I'd like to find someone to weld tabs on new rims in the original fashion so I can move it around. I have new rims and tires for it. Truly restoring it may be beyond my skill set or interest, but we will see. I read that some early models did not have hoods. Unsure if this one ever did. I first drove it in about 1980 as a kid. Has not run in at least 20 years. 5

Agree - But he might keep the Senior at his place to keep his others company and, you know, just to keep an eye on it... 1
Tony (A2, MI) 29 #174 Posted December 2, 2022 Hi all, the engine that is on my Senior is an AENL and according to my Dad is not original. I bought a AEN #2132509. Do you think that will work and is roughly age appropriate? Thanks, Tony 2
Pullstart 62,883 #175 Posted December 2, 2022 @Tony (A2, MI) that would likely date the AEN as a 1953 then. Close enough!
