GiddyUP 3 #1 Posted February 5, 2015 So, for my first amateur question... My B165 wears the following: Front: 13 x 6.50 - 6 Rear: 20 x 10.00 - 10 I really love the massive rear wheels found on some WH, mine by comparison are very modest/rubbish! So what's the most cost effective way of achieving larger rear boots? Keep the wheels and fit bigger tyres? Or is a different rim needed too? Thanks. KATO 115 #2 Posted February 5, 2015 The biggest tire I've been able to find for those rims is 22x11-10 Carlisle turf masters Tucker tire has them on E-BAY for 168.00 US a pair, definitely bigger than what u have. Not sure about shipping across the pond but it wont be cheap. Im not familiar with that series of tractor so I don't know what other rims might fit that transaxle. and to
GiddyUP 3 #3 Posted February 6, 2015 Thanks Kato, for the info and the welcome. An opportunity has come up for a set of cheap Raider 10 wheels and tyres which are a bit beefier. Are they easily interchangeable across the different series?
KATO 115 #4 Posted February 6, 2015 Not sure what year your is but here's a link to a manual for the automatic version of the B165 which has the 10 inch rims . It looks like all of the B165 tractors had the key way machined into the rim so that means the rims from the Raider series and many others with separate hubs WILL NOT fit on your tractor. http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/files/download/3713-tractor-1982-b-165-twin-auto-da-tiplpdf/
