Hobby horses 99 #1 Posted January 27, 2015 A friend brought this by yesterday. From what I have read on Red Square the first 500 Special had a H60 recoil start. This one has a HH60 with recoil and electric start. Looks to be fairly complete with the original seat. The cushion is torn, but you can still see the wheel horse logo. Lol BUT,,,,,,,,,,and I am no expert. The motor "should be" a recoil start, period. Did not read anywhere of a electric start. The rumor says that MANY DEALERS changed engines to make the tractor more desireable and marketable. Its still sweet, and once done a beauty. All the above, my humble comments. A great tractor.
