USAFPJ 24 #1 Posted January 12, 2015 Hey Red Square Crew, I found a 418 c out there, are they rare?
Ken B 3,164 #2 Posted January 12, 2015 As in 418- HC? If so, they are fairly rare but I don't think that adds to its value at all..
TT-(Moderator) 1,145 #3 Posted January 12, 2015 Production numbers are inaccessible to the public so it's just a guess as to how many 418-C models were built. They replaced the 417 models and consequently were replaced by the Onan-powered machines the following year. The "C" denotes commercial, so those that actually sold to lawn care businesses probably died a horrible high-hour death.

USAFPJ 24 #6 Posted January 12, 2015 I forgot I was talking with Terry from REDOYOURHORSE and I came up with a design for your truck back windows or cars, have a look and let him know if you like it as he is coming up with a price. Just mention STEDMAN'S BACK WINDOW DECAL. WHEEL HORSE STEDMAN’s – STABLES 1958- RJ 1965-855 1976- Raider 10 1986- GT 1800 1996- 520 Sorry the logo goes under wheel horse but did not come out on the post. he will design it anyway you want. Thanks, Keit
wallfish 17,112 #7 Posted January 12, 2015 I have one and use it with a 2 stage snow blower. It's fast compared to other hydros I've had, has heavy duty front spindles and is a no frills machine compared to the 418-A
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,133 #8 Posted January 12, 2015 Hey Red Square Crew, I found a 418 c out there, are they rare? The 400-Series differences should be noted in the operator manual Garry
TT-(Moderator) 1,145 #9 Posted January 12, 2015 1976- Raider 10 1986- GT 1800 Thanks, Keit Not to nit-pick, but you need to verify/change the years on those two tractors ~ especially if you having them put on a sticker for all to see. Raider 10 models are 1969-1972 and a GT-1800 is 1984.

wh500special 2,242 #11 Posted January 13, 2015 Thanks guys, and it is a 418 C. I think its the closest ill get to a 420 LSE, ha, ha ill try to post pictures You may be closer than you think. When you bring it home check for chrome under the paint on the rear wheels. Some "C's" had "LSE" rear wheels. Steve
