woodchuckfarmer 333 #28 Posted January 15, 2015 Dose the valve body have a relief valve on it? It might need adjusting.

Trouty56 567 #32 Posted January 24, 2015 (edited) I don't think the problem is in the pump....I think it is the valve....pressure comes in one hose and is directed either to the front of the cylinder or the rear.....the return flow has to travel back to the valve and flow back to the pump along with any bypass.....you have down pressure.....but no lift.....so to me the valve is not working in that direction....maybe someone will let you borrow a valve to check it with...lots of guys in that area..... Probably repairable too....I think there is a manual for it in the manuals section.... Edited January 24, 2015 by Trouty56
rustynutguy 9 #33 Posted January 24, 2015 I ordered a ball off Amazon I'll try that. It don't lift up or down when I put the springs in the right spot I had them reversed and I could get down pressure
cds105 0 #34 Posted January 26, 2015 Hi Rustynutguy, I may be a little late - but I spent almost a year collecting parts and researching converting my C-120 So I feel your pain! Mine works great ! and tested perfect. Love it for my snow blower I have been meaning to share to save others lots of time and hassle but been wicked busy. Get the Ball # 252490 $ 7.10 and Shim pack # 252470 $ 18.84 from Jacks Small Engines - they had the best price of the three places I found them. Yah you can find that ball for .50 c if you already have one to compair. These parts are worth the 20 bucks in hassel ! follow the intructions from Wheel Horse hydraulic lift Model 8-4113 (google it) or see attached. Wish I had had all your parts- I would have be finished in a jiffy. The cone valves seemed impossibly hard for me to find. Hope this helps you and others ! Carry on. cds105
