While you are getting a new knob you may want to consider getting one of Glen's fuse block covers.  It keeps trash and liquid water out of the contact area. He has them in red and black. The fuse block is one of the Achilles heals of the 1990 to 1997 520.  They are prone to melting and contact failure.
