Tankman 3,520 #2 Posted December 26, 2014 Pins for the hood hinges, a common problem, drill 'em out and install bushings. The steel under the pan goin' to need welding. You might add a piece of 16 ga CRS to strengthen the area. Doesn't look too terrible. Keep us updated, the forum wants to see.
BOWTIE 226 #3 Posted December 26, 2014 I REPAIRED THE METAL FATIGUE WITH 2 WASKERS ON EACH SIDE, WELDED THE ORIGINAL METAL BACK IN PLACE. THEN WELDED ONE WASHER ON THE TOP AND ONE ON BOTTOM. I DID WASHERS ON THE LEFT AND RIGHT SIDES OF THE FRAME RAIL. BOWTIE

Tankman 3,520 #5 Posted December 28, 2014 (edited) Does indeed look good. Steering wheel top center 'T' has to go! Glen Pettit's new insert looks great! Have fun with your project and, of course, update the forums! Edited December 28, 2014 by Tankman
