niftynoah 25 #1 Posted December 6, 2014 I have heard many references to it but i'm not sure where to buy it but before i buy it i want to know if it really works?
boovuc 1,090 #2 Posted December 6, 2014 It works but so does ski wax, automotive waxes and even silicone sprays. Trouble is, silicone spray doesn't stay on the metals as a film very long and the hand-applied waxes are harder to apply than just a spray. For snowmobiles or commercial plows, a Teflon coating is the way to go. About 10 to 12 bucks a can. Less if you buy a case. Much more if you buy it from dealers. Search on Ebay, Amazon, etc.
RMCIII 838 #3 Posted December 6, 2014 I tried many products, but Sno-Jet seems to provide the best performance. I have a video posted under the thread 312-8 dual stage snow blower. What you see in the video is partially the single stage and how well they work, but the other factor is the Sno-Jet that I had just coated the snowblower with the night before. RMCIII 838 #7 Posted December 6, 2014 Lane - WOW! That price on line is $5.00 more than what I give for it at Lowes or HD... Rob
Digger 66 3,488 #8 Posted December 6, 2014 Never tried that. Are you using a short chute or long chute blower? Rob On my '66 Ariens walk-behind . The fogging oil is cheaper but drips a bit ( park it on a piece of rubber or cardboard) . The air filter oil clings like crazy but is pretty pricey . Klotz is some of the cheapest . I use it for my ATV so I always have some on hand .
