6.0 powerstroke 62 #1 Posted November 24, 2014 I finally got around to cleaning up my c120 . it got new paint and decals , and a few other wiring and carb parts. i thought about completely disassembling it , but i wanted to have it ready for snow this winter. I'm going to try and post up the pics , hopefully they won't be sideways like the last time i tried...
6.0 powerstroke 62 #2 Posted November 24, 2014 ok first pic - this is what I started with. I just barely squeezed it through a regular sized door....kinda tricky the first time , but I think I've got it down now....

BryanRTenn 11 #9 Posted November 25, 2014 looks good. I did the same to a 416-8. Didn't take the engine off but tore down to the frame. I've got a little c81 I'm gonna start on when I get time. Little Kohler is a lot easier to yank outta there than that 16hp onan
BryanRTenn 11 #10 Posted November 25, 2014 mineral spirits works great to get the paint overspray off the tires & if it touches the wheel wont eat the paint. Acetone works but be mighty careful I use the ol index card method. It seems to work well on the wheels & tires on these horses
6.0 powerstroke 62 #11 Posted November 25, 2014 yeah I got lazy spraying the wheels. im hoping to replace the tires next year, as they are pretty rough. front left is new , but the rim is the wrong size so ill have to find another. i thought about pulling the motor , and separating the trans , but after i sprayed a few small parts i couldn't stop! BryanRTenn 11 #12 Posted November 25, 2014 oh. I thought you did take the engine off lol. It looks good! I bought this one a couple weeks ago, someone did a shi**y primer job on it, but its in great shape & all there. It had a blade is why I bought it, I needed it for my 416. So I don't have any attachments yet I plan on doing what you did. Engine will turn over when batt is hooked to starter, but no fire. I guess it needs points & probably a solenoid. Looks like ignition switch has been replaced recently but wont crank. I cleaned all connections but still nothing. I took solenoid off & it clicks sometimes so its sticking. I just havent had time to dig into it further yet
GT14 243 #13 Posted November 25, 2014 Very nice I need to do the same to mine.

BryanRTenn 11 #16 Posted November 26, 2014 yeah thats for sure. Heres some pics of the 416. It was pretty rough, didn't have a hood even. I wish like hell now I had painted the black on the grille, just looks so much better Terrys decals are AWESOME!
BryanRTenn 11 #17 Posted November 26, 2014 BTW, see the trailer in the background of the first pic? I was redoing it too so I kinda got sidetracked at times lol I was trying to get them both done & pull the trailer with some stuff on it with the horse for a parade here in early october but it didnt happen. The trailer turned out great though, I got a great deal on it, frame was solid, it had OSB board that was just rotted though. A trip to lowes for some treated deck wood & the welding supply store for some expanded metal & it looks really nice & should last for years. It will see A LOT of use come spring

6.0 powerstroke 62 #19 Posted December 1, 2014 I'm liking the two bay garage you've got there I missed this past snow storm, about a foot but I was able to get it outside and fired up Yesterday. I hooked up the plow and moved some of my snow banks back
BryanRTenn 11 #20 Posted December 1, 2014 Thanks. I could use one about twice as big. That just means I'd have twice as much junk in the way though!
