Looks nice, but I actually like the original look better on those. Nice custom though. Enjoy it!

I'm with Jason, I like the "original" look better.  But you still did a great job on the things you did to it.  Nice job.

Matt,

You have a good eye for this stuff. The look is great in my book. Huge improvement. :handgestures-thumbupright:

A few days ago I fabricated a carb flange to adapt this Tecumseh canister air cleaner sideways. I wanted to do something other than the original oil bath but also wanted something that might have looked somewhat factory at the time.

Like anything you do Matt that looks very nice. It can always be changed back to stock quite easily.

Thanks Ken. That's exactly what I'm doing - making sure any mod I do is very easily reversible. I could have the tractor back 100% stock in literally a half hour at this point.

Ok, maybe I am missing something here. Other than a lower stance and the air cleaner, what has been changed. I like it stock but I love it the way it looks now. Maybe its because I don't come from a farming background. I love hotrods but not overdone show cars. This is tastefully done and still is the same tractor. Think I will do this with my cub. Well done.

I totally appreciate differing opinions. Not everyone likes the same thing. At heart I'm an originality nut, but I wanted something a little meaner looking. The modified axle is just one main center bolt. That's it and it's out. Wheels are just lug nuts and the air cleaner is two screws.

In keeping with my theme of "all show and no go" (because I have zero interest in tractor pulling), progress so far on my pulling hitch is coming out pretty sweet. Probably the only pulling hitch that will never see dirt or a scratch. Lol

Finished my custom, bolt-on (2 bolts), twin header. This thing sounds unbelievable now.
