rollingflat 123 #1 Posted November 4, 2014 Picked up an almost new brinly rear grader blade sun afternoon. Its 38" wide, and am thinking of making it up as a mid mount blade and also still be able to mount on back aswell. What do you guys think?

Geno 1,929 #3 Posted November 4, 2014 They are really nice, I have one myself. They also have an attachment that goes on the front of the box for that one with ground breakers on it.
rollingflat 123 #4 Posted November 4, 2014 Have been wanting a midmount blade for awhile and think this will be perfect with a little modification.
Geno 1,929 #5 Posted November 4, 2014 It is several inches taller than the mid mount grader blade. You may check clearances first before you start.
rollingflat 123 #6 Posted November 4, 2014 we'll do. will probably mock it up under the c-160 and see how it looks. Im thinking of removing sleeve hitch mount and top handle, then welding angle bracing and cross bar to fit in mid tach a matic. then it would fit both mid and aft mounts. But this is just first thoughts! then fab a ajustment arm much like that on the 50" mid mount blades.
AMC RULES 37,141 #7 Posted November 4, 2014 Well? I guess... as long as it can always go back to it's original configuration.
