buckrancher 2,679 #1 Posted November 2, 2014 lost my senses awhile back and bought this wheel horse senior that needs help bad. It started when I called about an add on craigslist from a gentleman selling a wheel horse collection but there were no pictures or any tractors listed. when I called I asked what do you have for sale and he replied what are you looking for Sooo for the heck of it I said a wheel horse senior there was a moment of silence then he said I have one but I was not going to sell it . so we talked for awhile and found out we knew who each other was from the wheel horse show he was looking for some information I had so we traded e-mail address and hung up later I e-mailed him the information we was looking for and told him that if he ever decides to sell the senior to let me know. about two months went by and I received an e-mail from him wondering if I was still interested in buying the senior well one thing lead to another and a deal was made and now I have my work cut out for me too save this one this one will be a learning experience Brian 26

boovuc 1,090 #16 Posted November 2, 2014 Looks like you'll need some fiberglass body work for the hood. It doesn't matter what the condition, that's a Senior and in your hands, it's a save!
rmaynard 15,509 #17 Posted November 2, 2014 Brian, I have never seen one of your projects fail to meet my expectations. If there is something that you can't find, you make it. No doubt this Senior will have the marks of your genius all over it. We have not had a "buckrancher" restoration thread going for a while, so I look forward to this one. Keep the camera handy.
Ken B 3,164 #18 Posted November 2, 2014 This Senior is in the most capable of hands for its restoration. Its current condition is beyond keeping the original "patina" so I'm sure this one is going to get a full restoration. In your hands it will be the nicest restored Senior out there that is for sure! I'm with Bob, the quality of your work never disappoints...
JC 1965 1,530 #19 Posted November 2, 2014 It looks a little rough now but I'm betting that will change before long. I've seen some of your work in other restorations and I can't wait to see this one when it's done. Keep us informed on your progress.

Martin 2,132 #24 Posted November 2, 2014 nice find Brian, thats the condition i want to be able to find one, that way i won't feel bad about the originality of it when rebuilding. you could use that one as a pattern, make all of it again out of new material and send that one my way....... 2
