62bravo 7 #1 Posted October 28, 2014 First post. I became a Wheel horse owner by chance. I saw a 953 being loaded onto a trailer headed for the scrap yard. Kohler engine Delco starterator. Needs LOTS of things but I couldn't see such a neat old tractor getting melted down. So here I am.

62bravo 7 #7 Posted October 29, 2014 Welcome to red square. My grandmother is from Marion. I remember her talking about how going to valley city was a real exciting trip for them. I grew up south west of Marion about 7 miles. That's where I went to school from kindergarten to graduation. Still got lots of family there.

Red Steven 17 #22 Posted February 16, 2015 I have rebuilt a couple of 953's and 1054's along with many others. I am also new to the form and haven't figured out all the in's and out's of posting pictures yet. I have an operation and service manual with parts list for a 953 that I'm going to scan and hopfully be able to post it or email it.
