KyBlue 655 #54 Posted November 29, 2014 Late to this, but it's great to see him doing so well! Yet another reason for my feet to not leave the ground ... seriously - I get nervous jumping out of the back of my pickup!
Ed Kennell 38,227 #55 Posted December 9, 2014 Took Mike for his 8 week check up. X-rays show everything i.e. plates, screws and bone parts are where they should be with good signs of healing in the knee and shoulder. He will be in therapy for 6 more weeks, then may be able to start to put weight on the leg. Thanks for your support.

Ed Kennell 38,227 #58 Posted February 18, 2015 Took Mike for his check up today. GOOD NEWS... All is healing well and the surgeon gave him the OK to start to put some weight on his leg. It's been a long 4 months in wheelchairs and on crutches. Thanks again for all your thoughts and prayers.

shallowwatersailor 3,213 #61 Posted February 18, 2015 (edited) Ice dams got me thinking about those gutters again... good to hear Mike's healing well Ed. Craig, I seem to recall a long recovery in your past! My wife won't allow me on a ladder over twelve feet. I guess I won't ever be sitting on a ridge ventilating, as I did on the FD, anymore.
