shallowwatersailor 3,213 #1 Posted October 14, 2014 (edited) Thanks to one of our members (thanks again , Ed) my Chor Trac has a cousin to share the stable. I also will be able to use the case of orange paint I bought before I found out the Chor Trac should be all red! It is a 1949 Simplicity Model L. Even though only two years separate them, there are engineering improvements on the '51 compared to the Model L. One of them is an extra gear (referred to as Low-Low) and the different style of frame. Things seem to come in three's for me, so I guess there is another Simplicity/Montgomery Ward/ Midland in my future. If it is a Midland, I will be able to post it at the top as Midland was acquired by Toro. Edited October 14, 2014 by shallowwatersailor
Ed Kennell 38,178 #2 Posted October 15, 2014 Looking good John. I am glad the "L" found a home with your Bee-Hinds. Sorry we couldn't spend more time today, but I enjoyed the time we had.
