Seat Bumper/Bushing?

Recommended Posts

Anyone have a part number for the rubber bumper that was used for the back of the hinged seat pan on a 1976 C-120? My parts manual is for a 1975 and it does not show that particular configuration. Thanks in advance.

Your manuals are a free download here on Red Square, under Manuals (under the WH logo horse, upper left corner):

There is no parts manual there for the 1976 C-120. That is where I found the 1975 parts manual that I have now.

my 77 B-80 has a simple rubber press in doo hickey. after all those years, they was smushed down to pancakes.

I replaced them with the round rubber with the spring style. much better.

I did have to open up the holes on the flip up seat bracket.

Mouser Electronics....if they are the flat dome style bumpers......Mouser part# 836-G2043......40 cents each

link to post in RS.......

link to product.....http://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Heyco/G2043/?qs=%2fha2pyFadugH1h2eJva1E6%252bKsxGGQbX60gkm9B%252byPLc%3d

Link to catalog sheet.....http://www.mouser.com/catalog/catalogusd/647/2956.pdf

If you look on the catalog sheet the part is second from the bottom in the top group....looks like figure C on the right side.....

Maybe these are the wrong bumpers but maybe someone may find this useful information.....

Edit....After rereading this post.... the OP was referring to the seat not the fender pan.....these are for the flip up pans and under the hood stands.....maybe late 60's to 74-75 or so....

Here are some parts lists for the 1976 C-Series 8-speeds

1976 C-120 Auto

In 1976 there were 4 model numbers for each model name and 3 different manuals for each model name.

These manuals are shared so the same item may have more than one part number. When that happens they fail to tell us what model uses what in most cases.
