Ethan and Randies horses 65 #1 Posted October 9, 2014 I just wanted to see if anyone has ever off roaded with their wheelhorse and if they took pics?
rmaynard 15,421 #2 Posted October 9, 2014 (edited) A couple of years ago, one of our Maryland members, Redbird and her husband Dave, had a meet & greet. They had a great off-road trail. Hills, streams, etc. I will try to find some pictures and post them later. Edited October 9, 2014 by rmaynard

KC9KAS 4,741 #4 Posted October 9, 2014 Later this month there is a GT trail ride in Henderson KY at the Autabon (spelling?) State Park. We already have family commitments, so we will not be there, but it sounds like fun!
squonk 41,017 #5 Posted October 9, 2014 (edited) Did this a couple of years ago down in Naples NY. Rode my friends D-160 with a nice thumpin Kohler with a stack and rain cap! TINK TINK TINK! Edited October 9, 2014 by squonk
Tankman 3,518 #6 Posted October 9, 2014 Nice trails in Maryland. Guessing not the Eastern Shore? Those Horses loved the ride I bet!
RMCIII 838 #7 Posted October 9, 2014 HEY!!!!!! Now this could be interesting!!!! They have trails from Snowmobiles in the winter, trails for 4-wheelers, why not trails for garden tractors??? Man this could be fun!
rmaynard 15,421 #8 Posted October 9, 2014 Nice trails in Maryland. Guessing not the Eastern Shore? Those Horses loved the ride I bet! You are correct. Not the Eastern Shore. That was in Middletown, MD, in the rolling hills of Frederick County. It was about 102 degrees that day. Splashing through the stream felt refreshing. FYI, besides Redbird, Dave and me, the rider on the blackhood is John Matthews (shallowwatersailor).
Pullstart 62,764 #9 Posted October 9, 2014 looks like a fun time! I have a roller craftsman chassis that I made a tow bar to pull my girls around when they were younger and we've had some adventures out in the farmer's field behind us. words of the little more experienced: take the mower deck off before you try to pull dead weight through the mud! Tankman 3,518 #10 Posted October 9, 2014 Know Maryland is beautiful, I just got back from Prince Frederick. Kind of addicted to the Eastern Shore. All Maryland is gorgeous. US 95 is really gettin' busy! Eastern Shoremen tell me, "If it doesn't have anything to do with fishin' they don't want it." Of course, they love Horses, Wheel Horses of course!
