Geno 1,929 #1 Posted October 7, 2014 When you guys do these shows can you park your "rig" and display your stuff in an area? Reason for asking is I thought about buying a Class A motor home with a large canopy and didn't know if people ever parked one in a show and put their stuff under the canopy. I would also be cool to be able to have a place to hang out and sit or get cooled down inside and a kitchen and fridge nearby to cook lunch and such for people. Just wondering, never been to one. rmaynard 15,417 #2 Posted October 7, 2014 If you are referring to the WHCC show, all RV's must be parked in designated camping areas. If you want to display your stuff there that's fine, but it won't be seen by most. Other shows have different rules. I know the Little Guys show and Older Tyme Days allow them in the display area.
stevasaurus 22,698 #3 Posted October 7, 2014 Bob's right...each show seems to have it own rules about that...but all of the shows that I have gone to have an area for the horses and the camping/parking is in a separate area. I think it is usually a space thing...some of these shows do not have the room for the campers and horses together.

Geno, the motor home would be nice... but in your case you'll need an 18 wheeler for all your stuff & like Dino said ... .....
CasualObserver 3,408 #5 Posted October 7, 2014 I've only been to one show that let you park with your display "swap meet style" and that was Portage Wisconsin at Garden Tractor Daze. Even that may be coming to an end if the show keeps growing. All other shows I've been to have designated show area and parking areas. Most shows allow ez-up style tents in the display areas or similar canopies for sitting or displaying in the shade... but not all. Some disallow it for liability reasons.
