chipwitch 73 #27 Posted October 8, 2014 Geno? Lift pole? Are you conflating that with my comments about the lift arm?
Geno 1,929 #28 Posted October 8, 2014 heres my homemade rear lift, its manual, you pull the chain and hook it in the slot to hold up the implement,it allows me to use the tractor lift on something else Nope, just may be a quicker alternative to this.
chipwitch 73 #29 Posted October 8, 2014 Ah... got it. Lift pole could also be used for the same purpose with the bonus of being a lift pole. Didn't make the connection. Thanks
kris22 6 #30 Posted November 27, 2014 A little late to the topic, but if your making a 3pt just make the bottom pins stationary and pivot off the top. I made my own cat 0 hitch and my own grader blade. I make a 2" receiver that bolts to my transmission and mounted a 3000lb winch on it to pull on the top pin. This way I have a standard receiver to use for any other reason and the adapter was made to stay on the plow with the option to remove it and put it on other attachments, i.e. York rake, box blade, etc. I ran it off a 300cca tractor battery and used the motors charging system to run it. Never had a problem with lack of power/amps. Even had to use the winch multiple times to get myself out of a jam. Just my $0.
