But where can I find where can I find just the cable without lever? In a lawnmower shop or at an industry specialist? Where did you buy things like this? Sparky-(Admin) 21,541 #2 Posted October 4, 2014 Wonder if ya could just buy a couple of these and just cut them to length , cheap enough. They make a small tool that puts the "z" crimp in the ends. http://www.homedepot.com/p/Power-Care-48-in-Throttle-Control-H-SL-305/100182679 Mike..........

daveoman1966 3,762 #9 Posted October 5, 2014 Don't pitch the OEM levers. Put the lever in a vise to hold it and just pry open the jaws that crimp the cable. 'Z' bend another longer cable and put it back in the same lever. You can 'crush' the jaws back to clamp the cable again. I've done this 50 times or more....

Bobie01 22 #11 Posted October 13, 2014 I have mounted the gas cable on the engine. I bought the engine 1 year ago, but I think the speed controll(I dont know the English term) dont operate well. I don t think that it s broken because the previous owner had a broken axle. Does anybody know how to adjust it ?
