Dgibby 32 #1 Posted September 30, 2014 Hello all! I just got my first Wheel horse. My brother-in-law said he had a old lawn tractor that his dad gave him years ago and he wanted to get rid of it. I told him I'd take it and use it to plow my driveway. Well that was last year and he finally told me come get it 2 weeks ago or he was going to push it to the curb and see if the trash guys would take it. when i got to his house i found a 1995 314-8 with 112 hours on it! Can't believe he was going to trash it!

Dgibby 32 #5 Posted September 30, 2014 Thanks! I have a Craftsman Gt5000 that I've come to hate over the years. After having the wheel horse for a couple of weeks I'm ready to sell the craftsman and get another wheel horse! Lol! To bad for the trash guy!
Dgibby 32 #6 Posted September 30, 2014 I picked up a thrower for off cl already. And I was surprised that my craftsman wheel weights bolted right up.

Racinbob 11,082 #12 Posted September 30, 2014 WOW! It's hard to believe he was going to trash that. It looks beautiful. You won the lottery!
RMCIII 838 #13 Posted September 30, 2014 DG - on second thought....... You probably should just shove that out by the road for the trash man to pick it up.... Where did you say you lived?
Dgibby 32 #14 Posted September 30, 2014 Yeah he's not mechanically inclined! He put the tractor away 6 years ago when he got his landscapers. He went to start it last year to move it and it wouldn't start (dead battery I'm sure). So he decided it was easier to get rid if it.
