Aldon 4,826 #1 Posted September 27, 2014 On my intial acqusition of the GT14 thread, I noted that I really liked the way the hood opens on these like a car, from the front tilted towards the back. I was asked for pics of the hood and latches. Simple yet effective. The rear of hood has pins that insert into an elongated opening in the rear hinge. As it wa sthe first time using it, It took a couple of seconds for me to realize I needed to first move it in the upwards direction and then slide it as I lifted the front of the hood. The front Nose piece has an indentation to accept the steel hood upon closure, With no further ado.....
Brrly1 1,146 #2 Posted September 28, 2014 Awesome tractors, the 69's just unlock, slide forward and remove, No hinges! Only tabs to secure the hood to the hood stand or tower, then you just lock it in. There's a couple of them running around here.
neil 2,409 #3 Posted September 28, 2014 I agree with john , the GT14 is an awesome tractor , wheelhorse designed the tractor like a tank. Here in UK they are very rare & I only know of around 6 , but rumour has it that on 50 were imported to UK . Here are a few pics that a took yesterday of mine. My good lady even likes to have a go every now & again .

Aldon 4,826 #5 Posted September 28, 2014 Nice tractors gentlemen! Mine did not have the three point hitch I don't believe. I need to dig one up somewhere. What is the apparatus on the back of Stigian's tractor?
