squonk 40,740 #26 Posted September 28, 2014 Mike - are you taking about the emblem that was on mantainers and plow trucks? I vaguley remember seeing one on the front of a "V" blade after the terrible snow in 1978. Rob No I used to see them mostly on the 8 foot Meyers blades on Pick ups, Happy guy chomping snow looking off to the side.

Ken B 3,134 #29 Posted September 28, 2014 I remember the cartoon face as well but not on a Chevy! Around here if you had a Chevy with a snow plow on it you had a Fisher on it! The Meyers went on the Dodge's!
AMC RULES 37,102 #30 Posted September 28, 2014 (edited) Didn't think they had the balls to carry a plow... let alone, actually push one. OH SNAP! Did I just say that out loud? Edited September 28, 2014 by AMC RULES

rmaynard 15,308 #39 Posted September 28, 2014 Bob- How long has "B" been in service for you during winters? Rob I picked it up used in 1993 from the original owner. It's been plowing my snow since then. The original owner bought the blade in 1986.

RMCIII 838 #41 Posted September 28, 2014 Bob - any engine rebuilds done that you are aware of? Mike - being prepared for the snow, in my humble opinion, is kind of like being prepared for a warm winter if you use a wood burning stove... You can never have enough wood and you can never start stacking that wood to early!!!! If something suprises you, then you may not have been planning well, when the suprise happened!!!
Austin860 82 #42 Posted September 29, 2014 I'll be using the electro 12. Never plowed with her before cuz she's new, but I just swapped the 42 side discharge for the 42 snow blade! Flipped the plowing edge and she was ready to go. We'll see how she does when the white stuff starts fallin. Also a pic of my Manuel PTO "adaption". I didn't mess up any of the tractors originality, it just bolts right on, 2 bolts. Gets the 42 SD spinning really we'll haha.
