270 H Tuff Torq leak

I have a 270 H with a tuff torq tranny leaking oil from the sump pan thingy, it doesn't have a gasket only sealer in the joint.

anyone know if I can drop this off without removing the tranny from the tractor, or do bits drop out when I unbolt it.
