He didn't have control of the ball which was blatantly obvious in the replay and allowing OSU to kick that field goal with a 0 on the clock for 4 seconds was total BS. I have seen better refs at pee wee games. I know I'm bitter and everyone will probably jump all over me but thats what replay was made for....fixing f-ups like this. AT PSU, which is almost as loud as OSU, and their defense is ranked 9th. They have only allowed 17.4 points per game. BUT WTH is up with Illini deciding to play a game of football!!!!! a 1-3 team in the B1G takes down a 3-1 team. I think we should all rent a bus and head for Vegas.... Since or teams are so sporadic in winning, we would probably do well then in Vegas! Is the MAC soft? The Top 10 teams can't even come close to what Marshall has in stats.... 33rd - Passing Yards, 8th - Rushing Yards, 3rd - Points for, 8th - Points Against.... I would say this team is a candidate for the playoffs and should help to justify why NCAA Football has the need for playoffs just like all other sports... Every once in a while the under dog wins, and that makes it great for those teams and the sport...just ask Michigan about Appleacian St. At least we didn't have to pick an Iowa game this week. I thought those refs were spot on and great...I saw the play...I saw the replay 35 times and that guy made a great catch...the ground can't cause a fumble!! And guess what...Penn St. people are working the clock. I am surprised it went to overtime also...but only because Ohio St. let them get close enough to kick that tying field goal. :ychain: BTW...I was able to catch those grenades this week and throw them into Happy Valley. Northern Illinois proved that 2 years ago in the Orange Bowl (although, they showed up in the 2nd half and gave a good showing). Marshall would probably be 4 and 4 now if they just played the Teams in the Power-House Big Ten Conference. On the other side, if they manage to go undefeated this year (and are the only team to do that) I think you have to give them one of those 4 spots for the Championship...but at least give them one of the major bowl games (Orange??) for what they have accomplished. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I can recall 2 years that Boise State went undefeated, including the bowl game, to walk away with only a bowl win.
