dirtymax006 1 #1 Posted August 12, 2014 I need to know the correct size drive belt and if anyone has a drive belt cover. Can anyone help? I also need the rod that has the swivels on both ends that makes the tractor steer. I have it all restored besides these three parts.

Racinbob 11,250 #7 Posted August 16, 2014 As far as your steering part you might be able to find a decent used one but those drag links wear a lot. You might be able to extend its life by peening it a bit more. It's probably easier just to make a new one using two easily available ball joints and rod. Racinbob 11,250 #8 Posted August 16, 2014 The down side is if you're going for a 'factory' restore.
dirtymax006 1 #9 Posted August 17, 2014 It's just a tractor for my 6 1/2 year old son. It is very nice but not to worried about a factory restore.

gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,104 #11 Posted August 18, 2014 Nice looking tractor. Your drive belt appears to have raw rubber sides. If you have trouble with it not wanting to slip when the tension is removed (clutch pedal down) get a belt that is completely covered in fabric including the sides. Usually the belt guard needs to be installed also to support the slack belt so it can slip on the engine pulley. Garry
dirtymax006 1 #12 Posted August 18, 2014 I had one of the fabric ones and thought this would be better. But unfortunately it's not. Does anybody have a belt guard they would part with?
