Police are investigating the theft of every single Wheelhorse labeled tractor, implement, part and accessory in Pennsylvania. State Police in Harrisburg have also stated that inch and an eighth crank motors from Onan, Kohler, Briggs and even those Indian named motors have also disappeared from peoples sheds, garages, barns and fence rows. State Police Spokesperson Cpl. Merk E. Waters told the Associated Press that "he has never seen anything so boldly carried out covering such a large area in so short of a time span". Authorities are at a complete loss as to what happened to these machines though some blame the high cost of scrap metal and possible black market selling to people out of state and especially in Central Kentucky as contributing to the crime. The amount of tractors, parts, implements and accessories total in the tens of thousands and are valued in the millions of dollars. Police are advising collectors to stay out of Pennsylvania so as to not hinder their investigation. Waters added, "there isn't anything left to collect in the state. They are all gone".
