T McCool 287 #5 Posted August 5, 2014 Thanks! Im about half done at the moment. Im tiering the hillside down another 3 feet yet. This will give me more real estate for another mini barn as well. Full of horse attachments of course!

Jrblanke 857 #11 Posted August 5, 2014 Man, Awesome pictures!!! Do you have a solid link on that plow to give you some down force or does it just float on the surface?
Retired Wrencher 5,438 #12 Posted August 5, 2014 Who would of thunk a little 657 could do all that work for a 6hp Tecky!!!!! I have a couple of them now and liking them more every day as long as u got a good carb u are all set with these engines. I am still looking for the elusive 607 though. It seem they just do not exist! Enjoy the ride and plow on.
T McCool 287 #13 Posted August 5, 2014 Thanks fellas. T1257, im running the cast iron Kohler 8hp that i have converted to pull start. JR, its a floating link, going to set up a solid link here soon!

T McCool 287 #16 Posted August 6, 2014 Got some more work done tonight. Starting to level out nice. About to change the pitch of the scraping Blade to help dig in rather than push the tilled up clay. Might add a wheel weight on the plow as well to give it a constant pressure. Im going to fab up a solid link rather than the loose chain link i have at the moment. Its a modified gravely blade so the solid link will have to take some thought
jackhammer 546 #17 Posted August 8, 2014 T McCool Looks like your doing a pretty good job already .. I don't know how much material you have moved or how much more you have to go but if I might offer my 2 cents . You might consider a 1 man walk behind sheepsfoot or roller. . platetamp or jumpin jack. Maybe you know someone local in construction to borrow one jmho But it is looking goooood Rick
