N3PUY 1,031 #29 Posted September 13, 2014 Don't think I like the new lights. Everything else is going great, If you look closely at the previous pics of the lights with the 1156 bulbs it is the same glitter reflector. The 1156's just make a lot more light than the LEDs. Wayne 28 #30 Posted September 13, 2014 I saw a work light at TSC yesterday that looked, to me to be about the right size, they were LED lights with about a million little bulbs. (okay, blatant exaggeration) I thought of this thread when i saw 'em. they are led units.
N3PUY 1,031 #31 Posted September 13, 2014 I saw a work light at TSC yesterday that looked, to me to be about the right size, they were LED lights with about a million little bulbs. (okay, blatant exaggeration) I thought of this thread when i saw 'em. they are led units. I bought an LED outdoor floodlight last year. I needed a light in the basement so I mounted it in the ceiling. Now everyone says "why is it so dark down here?". It's really bright to look at but very little illumination 8 feet away. Same thing when I put LED backup lights in the van ... they looked "cool" .... but didn't light-up anything. I knew the ones I got for the GT14 would be the same but I got 'em for the COOL factor. You just gotta go back to the 70's Nick, disco disco! YEAH! It is a 70's tractor!!!!!!
N3PUY 1,031 #32 Posted September 13, 2014 (edited) Here's a pic of the light when it is off. How groovy is that reflector? It's like a disco ball! Edited September 13, 2014 by N3PUY

Aldon 4,827 #35 Posted September 29, 2014 I will poach the bushing fix. Looking forward to any updates you post on the restore as I just picked up my own this past week. I am leaning towards "The Beast" as its name. Although currently its more like road kill:)
